Time definitely does fly when you are having fun! I can’t believe we are beginning our 4th week today… This is the last week of Wingspan Players classes before they head into their tech week and then performances NEXT WEEK! And the Wingspan Ensemble are still rehearsing and working hard in their classes (they still have 2 weeks of classes left).
Some highlights of the past couple of weeks:
- The Wingspan Players shared a bit of their show in our Company meeting this past Wednesday and everyone was so impressed and excited!
- The Wingspan Ensemble took a trip to see Shuffle Along on Broadway (right before it closed!) and everyone was completely blown away by the performances–we all walked away very inspired.
- The cast of Our Town took a trip to the Lincoln Center Library of the Performing Arts to watch a recording of the David Cromer production of Our Town to gain some insight into how the play all fits together and how the pantomiming looks in action.
- The cast of Godspell worked on some really impressive lifts in rehearsal and they look so cool!
- The Wingspan Ensemble planned a picnic in the park a couple weeks ago and it was a huge success.
